Virat Kohli took centre-stage in the second Test Day 2 as the former Indian captain smashed his 76th international century in his 500th game. Fifties from Ravichandran Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja and Rohit Sharma powered India to 438 before the West Indies scored 86/1 at stumps, trailing India by 352 runs.
Virat Kohli grabbed all the limelight on Day 2 of the second Test by becoming the first player to smash a century on his 500th international game as he top-scored for India in the first innings with his 121-run effort.
Shortly before India were all out, Ravichandran Ashwin smashed his fifty, he had earlier scored three centuries against the Windies but could only manage to score 56 runs before getting dismissed.
Similar to the second session on Day 1, West Indies were able to pick up 4 wickets after Lunch, Jason Holder got 2 while Kemar Roach also picked up three scalps.
Ishan Kishan managed to score 25 runs on his second Test outing, after scoring just 1 run in the previous match, the wicketkeeper batter had a decent outing before getting dismissed.
Ishan Kishan and Ravindra Jadeja stitched together a crucial stand after the dismissal of Virat Kohli, however, Jadeja also departed shortly after scoring his fifty.
Virat Kohli top scored for India with a knock of 121 runs on 206 balls with 11 boundaries as the former Indian captain achieved plenty of milestones on Day 2.

Kohli celebrated his special knock by kissing his wedding ring and he later told reporters after the match that he wasn't thinking too much about his barren record away from home. He was simply looking to help his team in the 34-year-old's words.
Debutant Mukesh Kumar impressed in his first game for the Indian team. West Indies started their chase steadily before Tagenarine Chanderpaul and Kraigg Brathwaite dominated the Indian bowlers.
