Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa beat up Jey Uso ahead of the latter's match against the Tribal Chief at SummerSlam
Roman Reigns gave away a major warning of perhaps the sign of things to come to Jey Uso ahead of the pair’s SummerSlam showdown as they squared off at Smackdown on July 28 with Reigns and Solo Sikoa punishing Jey brutally. Elsewhere on Friday night, Santos Escobar defeated Rey Mysterio to become the number-one contender for Austin Theory’s US Championship.
In the latest edition of Smackdown, Jey Uso opened up the show before being interrupted by the Bloodline. they exchanged warnings before the SummerSlam Showdown.
The segment ended with Jey putting his hand near Reigns' neck reminding him how he pinned the Tribal Chief and will do so again at SummerSlam.
Santos Escobar and Rey Mysterio came face to face in the invitational United States Championship final to challenge Austin Theory at SummerSlam.
The two LWO teammates barely warmed up when Mysterio suffered an injury and the match ended through the referee's stoppage. Escobar will challenge Theory however it remains to be seen whether the US title will exchange hands or not.

Karl Anderson squared off against Killer Kross with the latter claiming a swift win which would upset AJ Styles given his feud with Kross.
In the main event of the night, Jey Uso defeated Grayson Waller in a competitive yet entertaining match but what happened after the main event was more interesting.
